We have had 4 of this model over the years and always come back to it. It's an excellent coffee maker and has many great features and settings. Our only complaint is that after about 2 years it starts leaking.

The coffee maker itself is too tall to keep under a cabinet (on a counter) and use without pulling out from under the cabinet. The lid is too tall to open to pour the water in and the coffee grounds. Our cabinets are also raised 2” higher than standard height cabinets. It’s not a big deal but is annoying. A pull out drawer for the grounds would have been nicer.

An overall fine coffee maker. It has a large pot (14 cups) for those of us who drink a lot of coffee! It brews quickly and quietly and has some great features such as hot plate temperature and ability to program. Finally I like the option to turn off the beeping to indicate pot completion or auto shutoff. Bottom line - I would recommend this pot.

Makes great coffee, hot and quick. Although I have heard that the hot plate may peel I can see that if you leave random drips on the plate (which happens) it will degrade the surface. this doesn't mean that it no longer functions, only that it doesn't look pristine.

Coffee is optimally brewed at a particular HOT temperature, and this coffeemaker does hot the water to this optimal degree. Make sure that you grind your beans properly, if you do so too finely the water won't filter through the grinds as efficiently, and you run the risk of it backing up and leaking. Otherwise, the coffee is very tasty, and I have no complaints about how the machine has performed
