Makes coffee and it tasted good. It came with a reusable coffee filter and a few paper filters as well. I bought this for the Automatic coffee timer. I set it 5 mins before I wake. It makes coffee fairly quickly. I would buy this coffee maker again

The primary unit is used daily and has been reliable for the first 2 years although we had an issue and got quick warranty fix from Cuisinart. This is why its getting 5 stars as the mfg stands behind their product and is responsive. Will recommend.

nice looking coffee maker, but coffee Does not stay hot and to pour the coffee it makes a mess cause you practically have to put the pot upside down to get all the coffee. Had to return it. And got another cuisinart

I have been purchasing Cuisinart coffee makers for some time and I enjoy the 14 cup capacity feature with this model. I did have an issue with the carafe dribbling when pouring coffee and the company was quick to send me a replacement carafe which was very appreciated. The new carafe was leak free for a week and then started to dribble like the original which is disappointing. I still love my coffee maker, but I wish there was a way for Cuisinart to design a leak free carafe.
