I have had this unit for a month now and has been a great coffee maker. The coffee is hot not mediocre as with other coffee makers and stays hot in the pot after brewing with the timed hot plate.

My old coffee maker quit so I HAD to buy a new one the same day. When I looked at my needs and the options available, I choose Cuisinart because of the options and the price. I am very satisfied with my choice. I do wish that the pot cap swung open, but that is not a big deal.

This coffee maker makes excellent tasting coffee. The controls are simple and fairly intuitive. We had purchased the black matte model and the lining on the carafe chipped off quite badly after about 18 months. The warming pad was also chipping. We use the maker nearly every day . Cuisinart stood by their product and replaced it under their 5 year warranty. It's like 4.5 stars with that service!

I bought this on March 2/25 I am not happy with it I have used the same vanilla/nut flavored coffee with previous cuisinarts with this one the flavor doesn’t seem to be there very disappointed With Regards Dora

I replaced a similar Cuisinart coffee maker and this model makes decent coffee, similar to the previous model. My one complaint is the LED lights which are REDICULOUSLY bright. Did a 5 year old get to design the lights? My bedroom faces the kitchen and the coffee maker lights up both rooms, especially when one or more of the button LEDs are on. I have to place post it notes over the lights. Keep it simple Cuisinart. We don't need the flashy lights.
