I am very disappointed in this coffee maker. It is made mostly of plastic parts, which do not make for good quality coffee.

This is the third coffee maker of this type I have owned. They last for years and every time I have one go out, I don't bother to research brands. I come right back for this one. I really like the 14 cup capacity of the carafe, especially when I have guests. It makes great coffee, allowing for several different settings such as carafe temperature, boldness of the brew and automatic timer. I can choose how long the pot stays on before shutting off automatically. There is nothing I don't love about this coffee maker!

We've purchased several of these coffeemakers. Cuisinart coffeemakers are the only residential class with a 4 hour warming plate. All the others are only 2 hours. We wake up every morning to the smell of coffee which starts our days off right. Definitely a lot of bang for your buck.
