I had owned a Cuisinart previously and love that it brewed at a higher temp than other coffeemakers I have owned.
I bought this new version a few months back and am happy to report that this feature has apparently remained the standard!
The stainless appearance matches my other appliances beautifully!
I noticed the company has updated it’s design to make filling the water tank easier and with less spillage.

We've always had a Cuisinart coffee maker in our kitchen because they are the most reliable and brew the best tasting coffee. They are well made so last a long time (This is our second one in 30 years!). For a superior cup of coffee use a superior coffee maker ..... CUISINART!

This was a bit of an emergency purchase but was happy to find out after I had ordered it that it rated in the top five on many comparisons. I require a 14 cup because most of our company drink coffee and i can usually know down 4 cups or more in a sitting. Temp is higher then most and just inside the range you want at 197°. One of the more important things for good coffee. My last coffee maker lasted 3 and a half years. Just outside my extended warranty....imagine that. Let's hope I get close to that mark with this one. The only thing I wished it had that it doesn't is a removable tank. Got very spoiled by my last
maker....makes prep alot quicker. I will update this review after a few more months. Overall very satisfied with coffee maker and the price!

This is not my first coffeemaker by your company. Had one stop working when the coverage was just about to expire. Got the new one very quickly, no problems. The glass container is really sturdy compared to other brands. The 4 hour stay on is the best. We drink a lot of coffee and it's on all day when we are at home. Great product for sure.

I was looking for a good automatic coffee maker. The Cuisinart was favorably reviewed and has lived up to its ratings. The directions are clear and the machine has proven easy to use, producing good coffee with minimal effort. I really like the little valve on the brew basket that prevents drips when the carafe is removed- small point, but much appreciated.
If I have a bone to pick (complaint is too strong a word), it would be that the information provided is too simple. For example, how large is a "Cuisinart cup". I believe the answer is 5 ounces, I didn't find that in the directions. Maybe it's a nit to pick, but we make two 16-ounce "cups" of coffee each morning. In Cuisinart terms, that's 6 cups of water. I still don't know how large a Cuisinart "scoop" of coffee would be in standard units. I will eventually find out, and hasn't affected the quality of my coffee in any material way, but it might make life easier as I try to adjust the brew for different coffees.
All in all, it is a well made coffee maker that is easy to use, easy to keep clean, and produces a good cup of coffee without much trouble. I am pleased with the product. If there is a better product out there, I believe that the discussion would enter into realms of coffee-brewing "religion".
