I recently switched from my Ku coffee maker to this model I needed something more convenient for my husband morning coffee this one seems to be able to do the trick! Love the fact that I just have to prep it at night and it automatically turns on in the morning only down side is that it’s pretty hard to figure out how much coffee to put in it! And cup size never works it always does what ever water you put in it so cup sizing 1-4 is useless

I bought this coffee maker because it it was rated #1 on Consumer Reports. It has not been a disappointment at all!
The coffee maker has all the usual features and a couple more that I find useful. 1) Control the temp of the warming plate 2) battery backup that will keep the clock accurate for any short power outages.
The shape of the pot makes for a very accurate pour without having water dribbling down the side and onto my counter or floor. The water tank fill area is a generous size. Both of these design elements make for very easy use.
The only negative is that I wish the display brightness was controllable or would turn off after a period of time. I have an open floor plan kitchen-living room and the light is too bright for me.

Had to replace my 10 cup cousinart and saw this one. Relatively pleased with the years of service so decided to replace it with the same style. The thing I appreciate on this new one the most is outside measurement. Had to improvise using a premeasured amount of water on the old one and inconvenience of using a flashlight and standing on my tip toes lost a lot of charm every morning. The fact that it is 14 cup capacity is nice when we have company and the updates on plate warmer, clock setting, and louder buzzer, are all welcome for ease and age hearing issues. If your looking for a coffee pot where you still measure, add water, and drip brew, this is perfect. Just remember that there are lemons and you may get one. If you only deal with wherever you purchased it, you will find that more satisfactory. But if it is past a certain date, contacting the cousinart company maybe your only option. They will stand by at replacing or repairing but you will be responsible for shipping cost on both ends if they find the problem is not due to misuse. Read your directions and follow them and you should get years of service.

We've had 2 prio 12 cup machines...liked them a lot. This machine is a good one, but we always have coffee grounds in the bottom of the pot. No matter how we make the coffee, there is always some residue of grounds. Whether we use paper filters, the gold filter or a combination, the result is always the same: grounds in the coffee. Any thoughts?

I purchased this coffee maker about a month ago and I absolutely love it! I especially love that it makes 14 cups of coffee because our family goes through a lot of morning coffee and now I don’t have to make a second pot! I also love that it is programmable and makes delicious coffee! Cuisinart has never let me down! I’ve used their products for years and I will continue to do so!!

Have had this coffeemaker for about a month and really enjoy the quality of the coffee. Just one thing bugs me a bit. I think trying to pour the water in the tank is awkward. I can't seem to get the last little bit of water from the carafe into the tank. Having said that, it wouldn't stop me from recommending it to others.
