Easy, straightforward and brews a simple cup of coffee. The carafe is rather thin glass but serviceable. Expecting it to break under minimal use. So far, coffee is good and brews nicely.

Disappointing Carafe Quality Leaks from Metal Band

I purchased this coffee maker in June 2024, and unfortunately, the carafe started leaking within just a few months. The strange part is that it isn't leaking from the spout or the lid seal; water is seeping out from around the metal band. It seems like there might be a small crack underneath it, possibly from the band being tightened too much during manufacturing. I am really sad to see it fail so quickly, especially since my previous Cuisinart coffee maker lasted over 15 years.

After years of using Keurig pods, I decided to switch, and I'm so glad I did! I absolutely love the design of this Cuisinart coffee maker, it looks great on my counter. More importantly, the coffee it brews is awesome. I definitely won't miss those plastic pods.

The coffee maker is great, love that there's an option for strong so it does a slower drip. My only issue is that its difficult to remove the lid of the carafe when you want to clean it. I would also prefer if it wasn't a plastic top but other than that, I haven't had any issues!
