This is my 3rd coffee maker same exact model in 3 Years and they quit working. The one I just bought a few months ago quit pumping the water over the grounds I love the looks and auto setting but I can’t afford to buy a new coffee pot every couple of months

Dislike: 1. The design needs to be worked on. When you open the water reservoir the condensate runs off onto the back of the pot. If you don't wipe it down before it gets under to maker it rusts on the cabinet. It needs taller "feet" to keep it up higher or the lid needs redesigned. 2. It takes 16 minutes to brew a full pot of coffee on regular setting and 23 minutes to brew if it's on the bold setting. The mornings I've woken up and realized I didn't set the program button to come on have been painfully agonizing waiting for the brew cycle to complete. If you "steal" a cup, it is so strong it's nearly undrinkable. Something needs to be done to speed up the brewing process! One company has a maker that produces 10 cups in 3 minutes, that means it's possible to brew 14 cups in 4.5 minutes. WHY does this maker take so long!? 3. After only a few months of use, the hot plate is flaking paint off. It's usually stuck to the bottom of the glass carafe and it's extremely difficult to remove. If I don't remove it completely the carafe won't sit in the recessed hot plate opening without wobbling. So far it has not interfered with the function but it's definitely an annoyance to contend with. 4. The carafe lid! OMGosh! If you don't have the lid snapped in properly, it will run coffee off the side of the pot instead of into the pot. When the hot plate gets full, it runs coffee out on the counter and the bottom of the maker will rust onto the counter, and hot coffee will be e v e r y w h e r e! If you set the carafe under the basket wrong, it pops the grounds basket up out of it's seat, disengaging the spring tension on the bottom and won't release the coffee from the basket. It then runs over, grounds and all, and is the same mess as not having the lid snapped in properly. Likes: 1. The ease of setup was appreciated greatly! I really like how simple it is to change both the clock (Daylight Savings Time & power outages) and to alter the program setting (occasionally I have to bump it up an hour for early work then return it to the normal setting again that night) Very easy to do. 2. I really like the 4 hour hot plate setting! Great feature!!! 3. I really like the lighted buttons, especially the one around the program button! 4. I really appreciated being able to turn the "brew finished" alert off.
I wouldn't buy this again. It's definitely been an upgrade from the previous coffee makers we've had, but not enough of an upgrade to justify the price or the size. I was looking for a 20 cup drip and this one was the largest capacity I could find without going to a percolator style. I don't like sludge so perk coffee wasn't really even an option. We'll use this until it goes belly up then we'll look at other options with improved design.

Sleek design and adjusts brew for a very large pot or a few cups. Can adjust the heat level which is nice if you want to drink it right away versus putting in a "To Go" mug.

Purchased 03/06/18 ... Best coffee maker I've ever had ... (I'm 80) ... and that's saying something! I've had a perfect pot of coffee every time and I drink a pot a day. I also use the #4 cone filter in the basket ... It makes clean up a snap! Like I said ... Best coffee maker in my life time! R, Jim

we have enjoyed this coffeemaker since using. The only part that we don't like is the shape of the coffee filter holder. Our machine has a cone shaped filter and will colapse easily. using the screen helps the filter to hold it's form.
