Stains that will not go away, look terrible!

I don’t use my stove very often, but even with the minimal usage it has accumulated stains that look horrible and won’t come clean. I’ve followed the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions, but the stains persist. I can only imagine how much worse it would be if I used it frequently. I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of this product, especially considering its price. I would like a resolution to this issue with the stove.

When stains don't budge, try wiping them with warm, soapy water and a gentle cloth, no matter how hard you clean. I bought this stove on May 17, 2024 During my first time of using it, there was an explosion Still waiting for a replacement I wrote the president. Haven’t heard back yet.

Received the oven with a broken grate in November. Still no replacement in hand in late January.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Although I haven’t had the opportunity to use all of the features of this product, so far so good. The large burner boils water quickly and all of the burners are easy to adjust. Despite the description provided by LG, the burner knobs are NOT backlit and this is a major disappointment. The oven preheats quickly and seems to cook faster than our old range. We have not used the air fry or convection feature yet but I’m betting they’ll work properly. I can’t express my disappointment enough about the false information provided about the backlit knobs. They are one of the advertised features that made us select this particular product.

This range was installed mid-March and by mid-April I can already tell that the quality is less than ideal. While the range seems to work well, the cooktop portion is not worth the money we paid. We have been very gentle with the top and it is already stained and looks terrible. We don’t make a mess when cooking and have been very careful to clean anything that gets on it (even water), but the burner covers have ugly spots, the burners and cooktop look like they have stains or rust spots, and the grates are rusty where the holes are. The grates are also scratching/gauging the stainless-steel cooktop, even though they are put in place very gently. This is very disappointing as a range is a purchase that you will have for years. If it already is showing signs of wear from very light use in one month, I can’t even imagine how horrible it will look in five years. I am almost scared to use it for fear of more permanent stains and scratches. The other disappointing issue is that the cover over the exhaust area at the back of the stove cannot be removed to clean under it. So, if you have a stray crumb or such, it cannot be cleaned up. The first few times we used the oven portion it set off our smoke alarms even though nothing was baking at the time. This morning, a month later, it made them chirp two times. Be prepared to deal with a horrible plastic smell from the oven during the first few weeks. And if your smoke detectors are sensitive to particulates, it will probably set them off. It was also disappointing that the range only came with 2 oven racks. For the price it is odd. I will say that my favorite feature is the knock-on door to turn on the oven light. We had high hopes for the range, but are starting to regret not heeding the other reviews which mentioned the cooktop and grates easily staining.

Beyond disappointed with the stove top. Impossible to clean. Burners permanently stained. Tried all cleaning methods nothing worked. Cleaning method suggested by LG destroyed the finish. Replacement sent but nothing enough to update all burners. Nothing spilled. Had oven about 40 days when stains appeared.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
