Sounds ok, but adjustments are limited

It sounds decent, but even if you adjust the center channel very low and boost the others, the surround performance is limited. Not sure why they limit the adjustments. If I had tried this first, I would not have bought it.

We're glad you're exploring its features and want to help you get the most out of your audio setup. ,,The soundbar offers a wide range of audio adjustments to fine-tune the sound to your preferences. You can manually optimize your audio experience using the SOUND CONTROL button (identified by a gear icon) on the remote. This allows you to access and adjust settings like Auto EQ, SpaceFit Sound, AVA (Active Voice Amplifier), Voice Enhance Mode, Night Mode, Sync, Surround Speaker Mode, and Virtual Sound Mode. Use the Up and Down buttons to navigate and adjust each feature.,For more precise sound tuning, press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about five seconds. This enables you to adjust specific frequency bands, including 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz. You can cycle through these frequencies using the Left and Right buttons, and adjust their levels between -6 and +6 using the Up and Down buttons. ,,If you’d prefer a quicker way to optimize your audio, simply press the SOUND MODE button on your remote and select from STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, or ADAPTIVE SOUND modes based on your preference.,,To fine-tune individual speaker channels, press the CH LEVEL button on your remote. This gives you control over levels for the Center, Side, Wide, Front Top, Rear, and Rear Top speakers. Software needs work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hardware is decent. I wouldn't say it's audiophile quality. But watching movie in a small room, I have it in my den. It is fine.
However, Samsung expects everyone to have a symmetrical room, because their software doesn't allow you to set volume gain individually. Instead they expect that both left and right rear are exactly same distance apart from the listening position. Uhmmm good one Samsung. NO!
They need to allow adjustment of volume/gain L/R individually.

Could be better

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the sound occasionally dropping from your soundbar. You may first want to check the cable connection of the soundbar to the TV or external device to ensure it is secure and properly connected to the correct port.
In addition to checking the soundbar's connections, please make sure it is using the latest firmware Version. Updating the firmware on your soundbar gives you all the benefits of the latest improvements. You can update your firmware by using a USB device or through the SmartThings App.
You may also want to initialize your soundbar by pressing the - and + (volume) buttons on the top of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. “INIT OK” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset. Please know, this will reset all settings on the soundbar back to default; any sound adjustments will need to be performed again.
Should you continue to experience audio dropouts, and are connected wirelessly, please use the included cable to connect the soundbar to the TV. Using a wired connection instead of wireless often eliminates the issue entirely and improves the user experience.
