Outstanding Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my 7.1 Setup as I was tired of wires and speakers everywhere.
I can’t believe the sound quality and ease of setup for this soundbar. This unit really packs a punch and has been truly amazing.
My room is now free of speakers and wires and movies sound better than ever.

Amazing Sound

I bought this to replace my high quality 7.1 system in order to get rid of a bunch of wires and speakers every where. I did not expect it to sound this GOOD.
This thing sounds amazing and packs a punch. I had a Denon Receiver and Klipsch Speakers and I think this sounds better.
My wife loves the clean look and sound as well.

Better than Bose

Has absolutely exceeded my expectations and is definitely better than the Bose system I thought about buying glad I didn't. Absolutely excellent for gaming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wireless capability of this system is what real drew me to it... Then the to sounds and range of the bar itself was a home run. All in this system is superb. I will highly recommend. I have an average sized apartment and the set up was ready and everything fit perfectly. I couldn't be more happy with the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung HW‑Q990F is the benchmark 11.1.4 channel soundbar system in 2025: delivers immersive surround audio, advanced features, and easier setup than traditional AV systems. It’s pricey, but worth it if you’re after top Dolby Atmos performance without adding a full A/V receiver. If budget is tight and you can find the HW‑Q990D on sale, it’s still a strong performer.

Clear Voice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Base will blow you out of your seat, and the Clear Voice is amazing, i used to replay to hear what they said, don't have to do that now. Outstanding surround sound and sound follows the action right to left as an example its like your part of the action. Best sound bar system I eve owned.

Bar works great, Woofer - not so much

The soundbar itself and the surround speakers work well. The biggest problem I hear is the subwoofer. It's like completely weak. I barely hear it. I even used the SmartThings app and tried to boost the level up using the equalizer and the woofer adjustment. It makes no difference. I have 2 other subwoofers in my house and I know what it's supposed to be like. This output is so low, it's not even worth it. Doing a search about this product shows that the subwoofer is a huge complaint. Samsung should fix this. I don't think exchanging the unit would necessarily help, but maybe.

There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize bass from the soundbar and subwoofer:
1. Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the level between -6 to +6. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.
2. Adjust the bass control by pressing the TONE CONTROL button on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.
