[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I highly recommend this Samsung Q-Series Soundbar! I am a huge music lover and even have additional 2-12 inch speakers in a box in my vehicle. This Samsung soundbar system is the closest comparison I've been looking for. The subwoofer delivers the bass that you can feel. I have the bass at its highest level and my whole house verbirates. Just the way I like it! But that might not be what everyone wants or likes. That's great. You have the availability to modify the sound to your own preference. The smart things app makes your preference easy and manageable. Set up is quick and easy. The only wires are the power cords to the soundbar, the two speakers, and subwoofer. The system does come with wall brackets for the soundbar, but not for the speakers. Not having brackets for the speakers is the only negative for the complete system, but I'm sure I can find ones that will work. The speakers do have a screw mounting capability on the back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrilled and surely very excited about this new hw-q990F soundbar 2025 for soo long and hence I got it new Samsung 2025 soundbar I am literally on cloud nine feeling soo happy and proud that I finally got it . When it came to our door I am beyond grateful yet soo excited to open and just setup and see the new soundbar everything is soo easy in setup everything is cleared and the process was too fast and it’s great feature is you can download the app and access from your phone that makes everything more convenient and easier for us .
First thing first we talked about its design the q990F looks soo sleek modern minimalist design yet soo elegant kind of look for your home decor too . It’s also gives you an bonus option if you wanna wall mounted it it’s totally up to you but when I saw this I know I will put under my 65” Tv and it fits perfectly over there and looks soo amazing .
Secondly we talked about it sound system with sub woofer and rear speakers you can explore greatest sound experience with Dolby Atmos literally you can feel that surround sound in every angle and whether you watch a movie or an item song what ever it is it gives the immersive and rich sound where also you feel the rumbling bass that will shake your room eveywhere and you literally feel on the sound track or even on the dialogue delivery you can feel and hear the evey little note and it automatically focus on bass and sound soo perfectly . It’s gives you to experience the home entertainment around you everyone loves the new sound system and get crazy excited about all its features that how this wireless sound system makes it more powerful and unique in its own way . Not only this it’s kind of a smart home hub to you too because it has built in Alexa in it and my kids having fun controlling from Alexa and makes there wishes and from other devices too . Isn’t it a dream watching and witnessing your family live happily and enjoying while watching there favorite music and favorite shows . It makes my living room my tv space more luxurious and yet soo beautiful because it’s design matches everything around it and gives you home theater experience with its unique sound effects. It’s the best thing Samsung ever made and comes every year with almost some new features and makes a feel like we should have it for sure . Definitely worth a hype !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Meet the all-new HW-Q990F Samsung 11.1.4-channel full surround sound soundbar. This is a product that I absolutely love and has completely changed my at home theater experience. First, let me start by saying this soundbar has all the features I need: Wireless Dolby Atmos, Q-Symphony, SpaceFit Sound Pro, Smart integration, Active Voice Amplifier Pro. It has their new two-sided 8-inch bass module with Dynamic Bass Control. It has Game Mode Pro. That literally makes me feel the same as wearing headphones. While gaming simple things like someone coming behind me. I can hear them walking up as if it's really happening it's crazy cool. It has two HDMI inputs that have full 120Hz VRR and ALLM, so I can Connect my PC or gaming console and get their full capabilities, freeing up HDMI inputs on the back of my TV. The soundbar is gorgeous! It has a mesh grill front and a really streamlined look on top. I really like it; it's easy to clean, doesn't attract dust and lint, and should stand up to the test of time. What's really important here is that, from the moment I took it out of the box, it was extremely easy to set up. I love the fact that it can be controlled fully with Samsung SmartThings. I love Samsung SmartThings; I use it for my smart home, so controlling my soundbar with it is a no-brainer. You can adjust each individual speaker all 23 using the EQ adjustments, adjust your different surround sound modes, update the software; heck, you can even schedule a service appointment if you need help with any issues that might arise in the future, right from SmartThings. But most importantly, the Dolby Atmos sound I get when watching my favorite movies or shows from this soundbar is breathtaking. I swear it's like being in a movie theater; each individual sound coming at you from every direction is breathtaking, and this product has not let my family down. I find the private listening feature extremely useful at home when the kids are sleeping; essentially it tones down everything but still gives you the surround sound effect only from the rear speakers. What I appreciate is that it stays perfectly in sync with the TV's lip sync, of course. Also, for parties, I love that I can take the rear speakers to other rooms and sync the music with the soundbar to play throughout my whole home—a great feature, and we find it very useful. Overall, what can I say? This is the best soundbar I've heard. I highly recommend checking it out; it's definitely worth buying. It makes watching movies at home exciting, and we love it.

Amazing sound quality

Big sound, compact size - the next Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried a soundbar about a year ago. It was nowhere near effective as my home theater system, so I got rid of that soundbar. Obviously, this time I was very doubtful. My doubts where immediately blown away by the sound quality of this low-profile system. I say low-profile because compared to my receiver, large subwoofer, 2 tower speakers and 2 rear speakers, this simple 4-piece unit (slender soundbar, a compact cube of a subwoofer, and two minimal sized rear speakers) takes up a fraction of the space.
Even better, everything was plug and play. I could not believe how easy it is to simply plug each unit into the wall, tap the button on the back, and my TV found the wireless speakers (WIRELESS SPEAKERS!). Yes, I felt the need to put that in caps. Wireless speakers with such a fantastic sound. No more running and hiding wires around my living room! I do not know if pairing would be so easy with another manufacturer’s TV, mine is Samsung.
After only one day of listening to this 7.1 Samsung soundbar with subwoofer and rear speakers. I decided to sell my bulky system and not look back. This system not only sounds better, but is so slim, I gaining a lot of space in my small living room. While increasing sound quality. A couple of times my wife had to check to see if the voices and sirens were coming from outside (she’ll get used to it).
To be sure, I am looking forward to getting this system mounted on my wall and regaining room space.

Immersive Bliss

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setting up the HW-Q990F was a breeze using my SmartThings App. I hooked it up to my 75-inch QN900C, which allowed me to utilize Q-Symphony. This allows the soundbar to work together with the TV speakers. With the Active voice Amplifier, voices came thru crystal clear. This is now the only way to watch TV. Movies come to life with the sound coming from every direction. The compact 8-inch dual active sub-woofer packs a punch and delivers great bass. The HW-Q990F will make an excellent addition for your home entertainment system.

Setting the Bar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung has released their latest flagship soundbar for 2025. I was able to test the new 11.1.4 soundbar for about a week to get some preliminary thoughts on the premium soundbar.
Samsung made a few changes on their flagship soundbar package this time around. Starting with going with the new titan black color over graphite black. The soundbar actually looks less premium in my opinion. The greyish color sticks out under my 2022 Samsung 65-inch tv. The system packs 23 total speakers, this is up from 22 with the new dual 8-inch speaker subwoofer.
Soundbar
The soundbar itself is slightly thicker and has ridges on the top. The overall design is similar to the other soundbars of old 990B-990D, but this version seems like Samsung wanted to go with “if it aint broke” approach.
Subwoofer
My biggest concern was the subwoofer’s design change. The subwoofer is now more compact and comes with dual 8-inch drivers. Samsung opted for the compact design over the taller box design with their past soundbars.
Wireless Rears
The wireless rears retain the same design language from past years. Front, side and upward facing speakers that produce a great all-around sound.
Features
The HW-Q990F has a jam-packed list of features. I would suggest pairing the soundbar with Samsung’s latest television to get the most out of the system. Wireless Dolby Atmos and Q-Symphony are back and better than ever. SpaceFit Pro handles calibrating the soundbar in your room. The system has 4k 120Hz passthrough for all the gamers as well.

The HW-Q990F performed really well with everything I threw at it. I wasn’t sure if the new compact design of the subwoofer would perform well with heavy bass laden tacks.
To some degree, the subwoofer sounded better than the HW-Q990D’s sub. The subwoofer provided some deep bass while watching movies with Dolby Atmos enabled tracks.
I can’t wait to test and hear more about the Eclipsa Audio support. I’m looking forward to this new open-source standard to test the new soundbar’s limits. Music sounds fantastic on the bar. I listened to different tracks across all genres of music for hours, and I was impressed with the sound delivery.
Conclusion
Samsung continues to set the bar with their premium soundbar. Feature packed with
all the latest bells and whistles. Since this is an early review, I’m sure to find many more gems and/or quirks to detail over the coming weeks. Well done Samsung for setting the bar and maintaining it.

The Best Just Got Better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 6th Samsung Dolby Atmos soundbar. I have the flagship 990 model from the last 3 years. Every room in my house has a Samsung Dolby Atmos soundbar, because the sound for the form factor is truly unmatched. Usually year to year there is an incremental change at best, but this year is the exception. First off, the aesthetic has been completely reimagined. The soundbar has a gorgeous titanium grill pattern that provides a sleek and clean appearance. Secondly, the subwoofer has been redesigned. Instead of the traditional large rectangle, this year features a more compact cube with two 8" drivers instead of one. The result is deeper, richer bass that seems to have punchier mids as well. The HW-Q990F is also the first soundbar I know of to include Eclipsa audio decoding, which is an open standard version of 3D audio. This means that content creators will be able to record in an atmospheric surround format that includes height channels. Samsung is, once again, at the cutting edge of technology with this soundbar, and I anticipate will will see widespread adoption of Eclipsa audio in the future. The overall sound of the HW-Q990F is something you have to hear to believe. It is truly a theater experience from the comfort of your home.
