The HDMI on this 58 inch tv didn't work

Picture great but applications lacking

Two things not happy with, tv will not play sound consistently thru Sony surround sound system and Samsung doesn't support CBS app. Online, I found sound flaw has been a know issue for years with several types of sound systems. Samsung shows it supports CBS app but only for news. I got around both issues by using my Roku device. Other than that, I am satisfied with the tv.

Nice sharp TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use the TV mainly for watching "cable" TV. The TV is fine, picture is good. At highest setting the picture is a little harsh on the eyes. Overall, I like this TV a lot. My only complaint is that the interface for using the "smart"/streaming and or free services is very confusing and the badly designed remote doesn't help. I would probably use these services more if improvements were made in this area.

If the sound still doesn’t meet your expectations, there are a few settings you can try adjusting: Go to: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode • Standard: Balanced sound without emphasis on any one range • Optimized: Enhanced effects and spacious sound • Amplify: Boosts mid and high tones to make dialogue clearer
You can also explore Expert Settings to fine-tune options such as Balance, Equalizer, Auto Volume, and more to match your personal preferences.

Best TV we gotten so far
