Sound fault and picture bug

The picture and general operation is good, but there is a slight delay in the sound so that lip movements are annoyingly just out of sync. This is for both antenna and wi-fi content. There is an adjustment for sound delay, but it only works for HDMI input.
My TV also has an intermittent picture fault which makes the picture unviewable. I have found that unplugging and replugging the set resets the picture. Can't be fixed permanently so they offered me a cost adjustment. Hard to live with if it is frequent.

Thank you for your feedback on the lip sync issues you're experiencing with your Samsung U8000F TV. This may be related to the content source, but if you're noticing the audio delay across all sources or channels, especially when using an external speaker setup (soundbar, receiver, etc.), there are a few settings that may help:

1. Adjust Digital Audio Delay. You can manually increase the audio delay to better match the video: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay

2. Enable Audio Pass-Through. Samsung TVs include an audio pass-through option, which sends the audio signal directly to your connected soundbar or receiver without additional processing by the TV. This can reduce delay when using external audio devices: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through

3. Check for Firmware Updates. Ensure your TV is running the latest software, which may include performance improvements related to sound or sync: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this tv is used for normal tv viewing this tv is extremely difficult to use .there are no easily handy instructions,. the user interface is difficult to use. i cannot use the tv features because there are no easy to access instructions . no easy access to how to use tv features

Your TV includes Learn Menu Screen, an accessibility feature that provides audio guidance for on-screen menus. When enabled, your TV will announce the name and function of each menu item as you scroll, without making any changes. The colors are bright and brilliant without a blur. 4k viewing is bar none the best I’ve seen even with units much greater in price. I feel as if I will years of solid viewing from this unit without ant concerns. The slim look of the border makes it effortless to view that is not distracting to the viewer
