I thought i was upgrading my roku to be able to operate the TV; on/off, volume, microphone to jump tween applications. Well, it half works with my TV . It recognizes my TV brand, apparently it's not totally compatible. I CAN'T contol volume, CAN turn TV off, and microphone work well. Wish i could change the prest buttons as the only one relevant to me is NEtflix, out of 4 buttons.

Easy setup; organized interface; good channel selection. Only complaint is lack of a backlit remote control. That is nearly a deal-breaker for me. Also, there are no 3rd party backlit options, so it's the Roku device or nothing.

Decent device with disturbing data exfiltration

Decent product. The buttons on the remote to take you to an advertised app are a pain in the butt. Very much wish the buttons were not there. These buttons may affect my purchase decision in the future.
Device is a bit slow and needs to be rebooted too frequently. Unfortunately, the newer roku devices we have bought seem to be less reliable and require more frequent reboots.
The amount and types of data being sent back to roku is really starting to disturb me. Again, this will affect my decision to buy a roku in the future.

Easy to install and use, however I have had issues with screen seeming to go back and forth like loose connection. My early version of Roku didn’t do that.

Reliable and easy to use

The remote is much easier than the universal remotes I have used in the past. I find the Roku remote is quickly learned and easy to manage. The Roku unit has performed flawlessly. We've had our unit in place for about 4 weeks now and we are very happy.

A wonderful tool for entertainment

We wanted to read our house of the cable. We went with Wi-Fi and promptly purchased a Roku to give us the entertainment abilities we were looking for.
