Not working with our cable

Had technician come out several time. He says something about Roku and Star Communication not working together with the 4K model. Mouth and words not in sync and it will freeze and green bar shows up on bottom of picture. Star say they have a ticket with Roku, but no response.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Remote needs work

I'm enjoying my Roku, but I'm not enjoying the remote. The volume control needs to be on the top. Being on the side I've accidently turned it up too loud for late night watching. The "voice" feature needs to be somewhere else on the remote. And the remote could stand to be a little larger. Otherwise, I'm happy with the Roku unit itself.

Very nice upgrade from the Roku HD I'd been using for the past 7 years. Now I can stream multiple channels, rather than Netflix only. The HDMI connection brings a clearer picture. I also like having a remote that controls the volume on the TV and powers both devises on/off.
