Doesn’t work the way it should

I may have gotten a defective one I’m not sure. It just freezes up, and CONSTANTLY disconnects from the internet. The screen gets black then turns off. Then I have to restart it and the whole thing repeats
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Battery eating Remote

I am not sure what is going on with these remotes, but they just continue to eat batteries at an alarming rate. I have paired them several times, as recommended, but it still does not matter. I believe that some of them are just bad design. I have replaced all but 2 of them among the 6 that we use. I am contemplating going to a different streaming device.

Technical issues and no support

We had a technical issue as soon as we set it uo and it turns out roku doesn't not offer support for this exact product... what a waste of money

I think this is an example of a great product

Roku helped us to cut the cord and save significant monthly money but more importantly to us our entertainment choices exploded. The device is very reasonably priced and durable. I also like how small the device is on the tv cabinet.

I bought a Roku for my great looking dumb TV to make it a smart TV. I liked the roku so much, I bought another one for my other TV. The remotes do not interfere with each other. It really is a great set-up.
