New Roku remote

Very disappointed in these new remotes. They don’t work as well as the old ones. They go through batteries every other week which is not cheap by any means. Thinking of just going with a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have owned Roku before and was very happy with its performance and abilities. I received this one as a gift after my old one became very outdated. I am even happier with the new one.

I am so happy that I bought the Roku Express 4K+(3941R2) a few months ago! It's so easy to install and use and I really like that I can use my voice with the remote!! I really recommend it!!

My ROKU TV is great, no issues. However, the devices are trash. They just stop working. For no reason and not even a year old! I would never buy another!

ads on the home screen

The device is ok but they have started putting ads on the home screen. They claim they are skippable but essentially they aren't because they have a small button you have to get to. They also have sound and are for things that are very obnoxious. I've been using rokus for over 10 years now but there are lots of streaming players that don't have ads like this and I'll be getting one of those next time.
