We bought our first Roku devise to replace a Comcast TV box, and it works great at doing that which we were skeptical about it doing that without issues.

it delays bad. Like 7 seconds after you click the button it works. Mine is brand new btw.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A delayed response from a Roku remote is often caused by weak batteries, interference from other wireless devices, obstructions between the remote and the Roku device, or the need to restart the Roku device. Love the streaming stick. It had a simple set up and is super easy to use. It very much replaces any sort of expensive cable service I would have otherwise gotten or used previously.
