Have had TV set for over a year, DVD movies only, so nice to see television.

My Roku is all set up ,but now it just keeps saying updating channels over and over for the last 2 hours. Why ??

Kindly try restarting your network router, for the updating of channels solely relies on your network strength. After doing so, you can restart your Roku device by unplugging it from the power outlet and plugging it back in. This product was recommended to me, I purchase it not even a month yet and I love ❤️ it..why didn't I know about it before...go buy it now, forget about those other gadgets and get the real deal...Roku is the way to go.

Fast device - more responsive than FireTV

No hanging UI. Every app loads faster. Switching between apps is faster. No crashes or reboots needed so far. Fire TV seemed to need them every week or 2. FireTV devices were current models, just about a year old.
Setup of Roku was very easy, standard process. Using the mobile remote app as a keyboard made it easier. Also using the remote app for audio out to headphones is a really cool feature. Best surprise with setup was when setting up 2 devices, on the 2nd device about 5 of our app/services the configs auto-populated and were ready to go as soon as we were online.
