I bought it amount a month ago. I am having issues with the control. I have changed batteries 3-4 times. If batteries get changed it works for about 2-3 days then it stops working. So I have been using the Roku app on my phone. I just need to get a new control or figure out what is going on with the control.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Has problems

I have 5 other Rokus on TVs around my home plus I bought each one of my married children (3 kids) one. No trouble ever. With this one I can’t use the voice command. I tried to pair it but it gets to the end an says not connected. Hard to press also.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello, Marie. This sounds unusual, and we're here to help. Please be advised that Roku voice remotes have a voice button that allows users to issue voice commands to their Roku streaming device. The button has a microphone icon on newer remotes and a magnifying glass icon on older remotes. To use voice activation, you can press and hold the voice button, use the Speak command in a conversational tone at an average volume, and release the button. I bought this for DCI and am very happy with it. I would like to see the camera point to a soloist when he is playing rather than scanning the field. This does not happen all the time but it does happen,

The volume and mute buttons on the side of the remote are too easy to touch when the top controls are used. I often raise or low volume or mute the sound.

Bought this unit initially to see if my internet speed (~90 Mbps) could support streaming TV. Streams just fine without any issues or buffering. Was pleasantly surprised by the amount of channels available with the Roku live TV, as well as with other apps. Keeps me logged in to my Pluto app, which is nice. Can easily add other apps allowing for an even greater variety of programs available. I must say the Roku microphone search function works very well, also it is nice to be able to log into your YouTube account and view your YouTube playlists easily on your television.
