Roku still a winner

All my TV's are either Roku TV's or have a streaming device attached. I recently purchased a portable TV that can run on batteries. It also has an HDMI port and USB for power. I didn't hesitate an ordered a new Roku express. I can now stream from my patio and deck. Works great.

I purchased this unit when my old Roku started to go bad and even though it's a modal step up it has problems my old Roku didn't plus the sound is terrible. I'm always resetting it. I should return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Nells, thanks for sharing your experience. To improve sound quality, check your audio settings: Make sure that your Roku is configured for the correct audio output format. Go to Settings > Audio > Audio mode and select "Auto" or the appropriate format for your setup (e.g. HDMI, PCM, etc.). Also, ensure that your cables are properly connected and not damaged. Try swapping out the HDMI or other cables and see if that resolves the issue. Restart your device by going to Settings > System > System restart and select "Restart. We've had Roku boxes in out home for more than a few years. It had gotten time for upgrades. So far I've done two. Still have to to go. Will happen in the very near future. Amazed by the added things this one will do.
