This is the third time I've replaced a Roku device

It just stops connecting with the remote or the remote just starts doing weird stuff....such as I press the button to increase the volume and it just keeps increasing even though I only pressed it once.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lackluster performance

I bought this device not knowing any better. I have to constantly reboot, login reset the thing when using my television. I am really frustrated to use it. I am going to be more selective on my next purchase of a streaming device, I certainly would not buy this piece of garbage again.

If you currently use the TV USB port, use a power adapter on the wall. (Any 5volt, 1amp cell phone charging adapter should work.) If you currently use a power adapter at the wall, swap it out with another one and see if that resolves the issue. Also, restart your device by going to Settings > System > System restart. Disappointed after upgrade

I loved the device until they upgraded the software. Now local channels have changed and even after I changed zip codes keep going back to wrong zip code. I have reached out to them and received no help. Very disappointed! Thinking about changing services. I have to change to correct zip code and stream thru phone.

Easy to install, Variety of entertainment

Very easy to install on any TV or monitor. Customization of the menu and available channels is a plus. Ability to place controller behind TV keeps a clean look for display
