Hi Mac, thanks for sharing. Have you only had this issue on YouTube or on other platforms too? It seems like there’s a problem with the video playback. It's important to make sure your Roku device has a good internet connection to avoid this issue. To check the connection, go to Home > Network > Check Network Connection. Not happy that I cannot use it to turn my TV on and off or adjust the Volume. Had I realized that I would not have bought it.

Quality is going down

This is my 3rd Roku product in just about 5 yrs. When I yook it out of the box I was immediately disappointed. The manufacturing products and design make the remote feel cheaply made. Thee plastic feels cheap and less durable. I did not notice prior to purchase that this model does not have a power button or volume control on the remote either. So start digging through your stuff to find your tv remote because you eill need both to watch tv. This one is going back. I may upgrade to the next Roku model up that has those features, or I may switch brands all together. I haven’t decided yet.

However, some services offer a way to avoid ads by subscribing to a no-ads plan from a specific streaming provider. In the meantime, you can manage the ads on your Roku player. I purchased the Roku with the feeling that I'm going to drop my local cable due to cost. I wanted to make sure that the Roku would provide the type of TV coverage that I would like and provide with enough choices to make the decision to drop cable a positive thing. So far the answer is "YES".....

Loses connection to internet very often

I bought this a little over a month ago. The first week it worked great. Then after that it started losing connection to the internet on every app we try. Still having that issue. Called y internet provider to make sure it wasn’t an internet issue and they confirmed everything looked good on their side. A bit disappointed with how buggy it is.
