As a long time user I been buying extra ones for my kids they enjoy it & find is really easy to use with tons of apps for any age & taste

Does Not Live Up To The Hype

I purchased the Roku Express almost a month ago. It worked great for three days, now I have to constantly reconnect to my wifi network before I can watch anything or reset the box every couple of hours because it stops working. I only bought the Roku Express because my Roku TV quit supporting my wifi network and I couldn't find another Roku TV I could afford.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Roku Express worked for only 11 days then died

I have the older Roku 3 for a rarely used TV that is in a guest room. I decided to get the Roku Express for my non-smart Samsung that use a lot with cable. The Roku Express was easy to install and worked great for 11 days, then died in the middle of an Amazon Prime series. I tried rebooting the WiFi, router, TV, everything but the Express still didn’t work. I decided to install the old Roku 3 to see if it was my TV — it worked (whereas the Express still didn’t work). I agree with some of the other reviewers to skip getting the Roku Express and look at either an alternate model or another product.

Poor quality

Ive bought 2 of these and both of them lose connection and restarts every few minutes. My other tvs with wifi works fine so i know its this product alone. Its a pain to restart and have to find the program that i was watching every 2-5 minutes.

Channels keep logging out of tv provider

Been having issues for months where in the middle of watching games the content just cuts out. I’ve followed a multitude of online guides for resolving these issues but nothing has worked.

Hi Mike, this does not sound like typical behavior and we'd like to help. Is this only happening on one channel?

It's difficult to determine the cause of this error without learning more. Sometimes, performing a system restart on the player can resolve this. Other times, you might need to uninstall and reinstall the affected channels, check the status of your wireless connection, or contact the channel's service provider.

Always freezes up

I purchased this several months ago to replace an older Roku that was working perfectly fine but decided to get a new one because the old one would soon be obsolete. It was a complete waste of money. It freezes up constantly and shuts down for no reason then reboots. The old one I’m still using on a different TV still works great. Don’t waste your money.

It's possible that there may be an issue with either the cable or the adapter. You can try using an alternate cable or power adapter to power the device. If you're currently using the TV as your power source, try plugging the device into a wall outlet instead.
