Always try to see it in person first! I did not...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased on holiday sale. Not bad for the price I paid, but KitchenAid used to be the best. I noticed quite a bit of cost cutting now being done. First the big handles used to be knurled but now are grooved. My other KitchenAids have the older style and no longer match the new handles. Second, the old brand badge on the door is now just an engraved name. The badge was nicer and really stood out. It cools great, but I hear the internal fan running most of the time. Water flow is cold but slow compared to previous fridge. Wish I could adjust that. Platinum interior is nice, but other model types with the same color interior feel more solid and heavyweight. This one feels very lightweight.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took 5 days for fridge to reach temperature, really!!!! Also cannot find where to buy a water filter for unit. Product has been discontinued
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s fine, I would like more shelf positions. There isn’t allot of room for tall items. Stuff gets lost due to how tight the shelves are. You have to press hard for the water dispenser and it’s pretty slow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They came and set it up and then it was making a terrible noise and the drawers don’t roll as easy and there are no lights where the drawers are at the bottom which was very disappointed, but I’m more concerned about the noise they’re supposed to come out and check it. I had a KitchenAid refrigerator that I bought in 2004 and was very happy with it and I miss the old refrigerator. Love the baskets in the freezer. Love the butter dish compartment that I don’t have in the new one and it has no lights for the bottom drawers in the refrigerator
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello JCEJ. We are constantly working to improve our appliances and our service, and it is only through feedback from customers like you that we can do so. We have documented all the concerns you have mentioned for review by our managers and engineers. Our managers and engineers do regularly review our files to look for areas in which we can improve our products. We know that can be disheartening, especially when you have just purchased a new refrigerator and you have high expectations for it. We’re sorry that we are not meeting/delivering these expectations.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought this to replace an existing fridge that was here when we moved in. It was a whirlpool but not anything like my new Kitchen Aid! Even though it’s only a little deeper in size, the way it’s so thoughtfully set up gives me so much more room in both the fridge part and freezer. I am thrilled to be able to now see everything that’s in side with room to spare! Having the ice maker in the door allows for more shelves and that helps me with organizing. Highly recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought approximately 1 month ago due to cost to fix old refrigerator (17 yrs old and excellent product)...new refrigerator is nice, I do not like that you cannot adjust shelving height on the refrigerator and there is only 1 "tall" shelf...old one had one tall shelf on top and one before the drawers started
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The engineers that designed the refrigerator side were asleep at the wheel. When you open the door to the widest point, you CAN NOT SLIDE OUT THE DRAWERS OR SHELVES EASILY. YOU NEED TO WIGGLE THEM UP AND DOWN TO PULL THEM OUT TO REACH THE FOOD IN THE BACK OR REMOVE OR JUST TO CLEAN THE BACK PART OF THE SHELVES.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my KitchenAid Side-by-Side fridge. It looks gorgeous in my kitchen, and the stainless steel finish is easy to keep clean. The layout makes it so easy to stay organized—everything has its place, and the bright LED lighting makes it simple to see what I have.
It definitely runs cold, which I like because my produce stays fresh longer and my frozen foods stay rock solid. The ice and water dispenser is super convenient, and the shelves and drawers feel sturdy and high quality.
Overall, this fridge is stylish, reliable, and built to last. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who wants a refrigerator that looks great and keeps food perfectly chilled.
