Your model had poor design.

I like it, but don't trust it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator has an almost identical design as the one I had before that only lasted 8 years before dying. The only reason I got it again is because all other brands are lousy too, and Whirlpool seems to be the only brand making the widest freezer section in a side-by-side. All other brands are too narrow. And this one, as well as the last one, are both equally quiet, which is nice.
It took very long to get this time because Whirlpool seemingly prefers to make stainless steel appliances but not white. Getting a white one is like pulling teeth.
Now that it's here, I put a thermometer in it to monitor the actual temperature. The temperature is not very accurate. It's off by several degrees. Plus, it varies a lot. I've had other brands that are way more rock solid as far as holding the proper temperature. But it seems to be doing the job. We'll see how long it lasts THIS time.

Loud noise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like all the features of our new refrigerator but for one thing. As it goes through cycle it makes a very load tapping sound. We have only had this refrigerator for 12 days and it’s a very annoying sound. We are calling Whirlpool today. I will update more latter.

Ice Maker Monster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hey, listen folks. It is a bit premature for you to ask me to review a machine I've only had for a couple of weeks. I'd much prefer you solicit my opinion in a year. That way prospective buyers will receive better information.
But, I'll tell you one thing. The ice dispenser is the loudest one of its kind I've ever heard. I'm serious! I can't dispense ice if anyone in the house is sleeping for fear of waking them and that's no kidding. So we've gone to getting our ice by opening the freezer door and just reaching in after it. That works and it doesn't wake the dead!
Overall the unit works as it should right now despite the trend of refrigerator manufacturers falsely saving money by using the "quick and dirty" method of manufacturing. I'll patiently wait for your next request for a review.

We just couldn't handle the freezer on the bottom on the Samsung So, we purchased our reliable Whirlpool and we couldn't be happier!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features & trusted brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a month ago bc our fridge very much like this one quit working after 9 years. This style fits into the space in our kitchen. We are pleased with the depth, lighting and interior space. We especially like the three drawers…deli, veggies, and fruits. Whirlpool is a brand we purchase because of its dependability.
