[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very basic refrigerator/freezer. I find the temperatures in the freezer and refrigerator to be a bit inconsistent and occasionally they both get warmer than they should before the system kicks in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Grinding, whining noise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Makes penetrating grinding, whining noise. I have to get it out of the house soon. Apparently, the noise is said to be normal. The decibel level is not particularly high, but the pitch of the sound is particularly penetrating and in an irritating range. It projects through over 1000 square feet. I am not a particularly sensitive person, but this really is remarkable. Previous refrigerators have made noise, but were nothing like this.

Could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge has a better icemaker setup than our previous fridge, but the positives end there. Our previous fridge had totally adjustable shelf spacing. The Whirlpool has fixed spacing that doesn't really work well for us, both in the main compartment and the door. We're forced to adapt and we're not happy about it. I also had to purchase an additional door bin and two extra shelves for the freezer because otherwise, there wasn't adequate storage. But my biggest complaint is the woefully small vegetable drawer. This fridge has the same footprint as the one we had, but the veggie drawer isn't even half the size of what we had. I don't know if this fridge is intended for people who eat out most of the time or just hate veggies, but the veggie drawer is barely adequate for two people.

Discouraged with side by side refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second side by side in a month. Why do they make so much noise. Sounds like a machine gun at least once a day. Freezer side has ice crystals on my freezer bags? I don't open the doors much, yet I have condensation on my shelves? I didn't want ice dispenser but it is very hard to find side by side without, so this is not even hooked up. Also hard to move, even a few inches. Storage space is also small on freezer side.
