Love this fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since our purchase a month or so ago we have been more than pleased with our bottom freezer refrgerator. So far it has performed flawlessly. We really like the ability to open/close the left door without having to open the right one. The bottom freezer is very capacious with a shallower second drawer above the lower one. Very easy to access for loading or removing items. EXTREMELY pleased with our purchase.

GOOD REFRIGERATOR

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, the refrigerator is great, except I have two issues: The right door does not stay open when you open it fully. So when you have several food items to put in the refrigerator you have to hold the door open with your hip so the door doesn't close before you get your food in. Second issue is the open door alarm, which only sounds 3 times, It is so quiet that unless you are very close to the refrigerator, you won't hear it.
I had a repair person out and there is nothing that can be done about either of these two things.

So Far So Good - Time Will Tell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nothing gets 5 stars without the passage of time. So far the refrigerator seems fine for the two weeks we've owned it. This unit replaces a very troublesome and expensive Samsung that lasted all of 8 years. The refrigerator is quiet - relatively speaking, maintains proper temperature, and the ice maker produces adequate quantities. Wife noticed that the plastic drawers seem a little thinner, i.e. cheaper than others, (shrinkflation?). Once again time will tell. I opened the access panel on the bottom rear exterior to see condenser configuration. It is very simple and looks like it will be easy to keep the dust bunnies out - unlike the Samsung. Two complaints so far: (1) The control panel embedded on the side of the left refer door takes some getting used to and is not the most user friendly but it's ok. (2) Paint job, (black) isn't great and is easily scratched so will need to take precautions. I'm hoping this unit lasts a long time but won't be surprised if it doesn't. Unfortunately nothing seems to be built for the long haul anymore. So sad for consumers and the planet.

Defective ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, it’s okay, but the ice maker has started to malfunction and it’s not even a year old. There appears to be some type of a leak, and while it’s still making some ice, water is dripping into the ice collection bin and freezing. I pull out giant chunks of ice daily until a new ice maker is installed.
