Nice refrigerator but ice maker no good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this back in mid June 2025, ice maker worked for a few weeks and hasn’t worked since. Ice maker has been replaced and still has not made any ice. Refrigerator and freezer are decent quality. Keeps food cold and consistent

Icemaker Problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator with only one feature - ice maker located in bottom freezes compartment. When the refrigerator first started up we had a significant problem - water from the ice maker sprayed over the interior back side of the freezer compartment and the inside the upper shelf of the freezer compartment. After that the ice maker did not seem to function properly. We had unplug it to turn the refrigerator off to defrost the freezer and get rid of the water. We then turned it back on again, but made sure the water and ice maker was not turned on again until the freezer compartment had fully reached its normal operating temperature. After that it has worked fine. Whirlpool should do two things - 1) provide a switch so that the freezer can be turned off without having to turn of the upper refrigerator compartment and 2) update the startup instructions so others don’t have this same problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it is good refrigerator works well, bottom freezer too but having issue with ice maker, it stop making ice after 2 weeks , the ice maker light is always on . As suggested I off the fridge unplug still the same no ice.

Great refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my new Whirlpool refrigerator this month and so far, so good. It is very spacious, and I love it. I am enjoying the in-freezer ice maker which is making so much cubed iced. This refrigerator is really quiet unlike my old one. You do occasionally hear ice drop but that is to be expected.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Clean; spacious; functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator and it was delivered/set up on July 2. Now, nearly two months into use, I'm quite pleased with it. It's spacious, well made (by today's standards), and the shelf layout makes it ideal for our use as an "overflow" refrigerator for use for leftovers (we have a large family); drink storage (water bottles; sodas; etc.); and ancillary freezer storage. It's quiet; the fingerprint-resistant stainless steel ensures it remains clean looking; and it produces a good quantity of ice to bolster what our primary refrigerator can produce - handy when we have large family gatherings. Also, it has a plain - but functional - design. All those "bells-and-whistles" that some refrigerators offer are of no real interest to us for this refrigerator's use; rather, just clean aesthetic lines, good functionality, and long-term reliability. It's demonstrated that it's met the first two of those parameters. Hopefully, time will prove that it can meet the last one as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!
