[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator a couple of weeks ago and are glad that we did. It holds quite a bit, both in the refrigerator and the freeze. There are two ice makers, on in the refrigerator door and one in the freezer; the freezer ice maker can be turned off to provide for additional storage space and then turned on when needed. The only odd thing to use is the freezer shelves. The top shelf which requires less bending has to be pulled out to access. The lower shelf requires more bending but that is the default shelf when the freezer is opened. That said, we love this refrigerator.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ice maker doesn't work. Freezer doesn't get to proper temperature. Waiting on a fix and thinking I got a real lemon. I would not recommend this brand to anyone.

If your refrigerator isn't making ice, check these common issues:
1. Ice Maker Operation:
Is it ON? Ensure the power switch/shut-off arm is in the "ON" or down position.
Reset: If production stops, try a reset: press the dedicated reset button, or unplug the entire refrigerator for 60 seconds.
Caution: An off but connected ice maker can cause buzzing, excessive cold, or freezing food.
2. Ice Not Dispensing:
If the mold is full but not dumping, the mechanism may be jammed. Reset the refrigerator (unplug for 60 seconds) and allow a few hours to monitor production.
3. Installation/Door Issues (New or Serviced Units):
Door Alignment: Doors must be installed correctly and close completely to ensure a proper seal.
Hinge Connections: Check the bottom freezer door hinge for pinched, crimped, or disconnected water tubing or wiring.
4. Temperature Controls:
Ice production slows or stops if the freezer is too warm. Adjust the freezer control one setting colder and wait 24 hours before checking or making further changes.
5. Water Pressure:
Low pressure causes slow dispensing, small/misshapen/hollow cubes, or no ice. Optimal pressure is essential. Reverse osmosis (RO) systems may require additional components.
6. Water Line Installation:
Supply: Connect to cold water only using 1/4" copper or PEX tubing.
Service Loop: Ensure there is extra coiled tubing ("service loop") behind the unit for service access.
Kinks: Inspect the entire water line for kinks or pinches, especially near the wall/unit, and straighten them.
7. Water Filter:
Replace: Change the Whirlpool filter every 6 months, when the indicator light is on, or if flow decreases.
Impact: A clogged filter restricts water flow and pressure, leading to low ice production and slow dispensing. Use genuine everydrop® filters.
8. Flushing:
After filter replacement or installation, flush the water system (typically 1-4 gallons) to remove air and carbon fines. Trapped air can cause sputtering, small ice, or cloudy water.

Bad refrigerator

We bought this refrigerator about a month ago, so far I hate it . They can’t get the doors level, don’t like the water dispenser, the door will not stay open and the other day it switched to vacation mode. I would never recommend this refrigerator to anyone.
