Great side by side with ice and water in door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and I am extremely happy with it. It does everything I need. Really wanted a side by side instead of the freezer on the bottom. I use the ice and water in the door continuously!

Time Will Tell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall we are satisfied with our new refrigerator thus far (only had 2 months). The ice maker seems to mix cube and crushed ice together. The other concern is the location and operation of the water and ice dispensing paddles ( the way they are recessed against the refrigerator makes operation difficult. We previously had a Kenmore refrigerator for 25 years and this new Whirlpool came closest to size, setup and features of our old one. I hope this refrigerator will last half as long as the old Kenmore.

Solid Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace a high-end Samsung fridge that no one in our area could repair when it broke after less than 3 years from purchase.
The Whirlpool is an excellent and affordable choice. Excellent reviews. Both sides are very light and it’s easy to see what’s on the shelves and in the drawers.
We like the auto fill option on the water as everyone in the family carries reusable water bottles to work and school.
Initially thought the kick-plate was missing because it doesn’t look terribly finished on the front bottom of the fridge but that’s minor.
Seems like it could come with another door shelf and another internal shelf or two but I bet we could buy those on our own.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator on an emergency basis and have incurred numerous problems since. Items are freezing in the refrigerator side despite the temperature being set at 37 degrees. The ice and water dispensers are difficult to use and the unit is very noisy. It would be impossible to press a wine glass against the lever without breaking it in your hand. The mechanism itself takes up far too much space, lowering storage by as much as 2 cu. ft. versus the competition. .Surprisingly there is no butter compartment. This was an emergency purchase or we would have looked elsewhere.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
