14 months old and these bumps are showing up on the freezer door just under the water/ice dispenser. Being told warranty is 12 months. I've bought Whirlpool products for forever. Guess that changes now. Got this response to my rating. Then contacted them as directed only to be given the run around and told that as with any manufactured product there can be defects and we don't stand behind our product to fix those defects if they are outside the warranty (30 days on aesthetics, 1 year on functional) WHAT? I guess the post was just for show for people to read so they will think Whirlpool is trying to make things right. WRONG
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not my greatest purchase

This is a very nice looking unit. It has less room inside that I anticipated. The ice maker in the door seems like a good idea but I dont think the ice is kept as cold in the door compared to more in the back of the freezer like normal ice makers. The ice tends to meld into a big chunk as its dispensed into a glass. The shelves are a disappointment. Very cheap and non-adjustable. For the price of this model I expected more.

Being confined to a wheelchair it's still very difficult for me to access
my fridge. I get stuck trying to reach the shelves.

Disappointed in this refrigerator freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is no way to change temperature in freezer and fridge. The refrigerator freezes my eggs, produce and anything that sits close to the side wall next to the freezer. I am very unhappy.

Temperature Controls: Controls are preset to the "mid-setting." Adjust them only if beverages are not cold enough. Wait 24 hours between adjustments and move the control to the next higher setting to make it colder, or the next lower setting to make it less cold.
Air Vents: Ensure adequate airflow by checking that nothing is blocking the vents between the freezer and refrigerator compartments. Do not place temperature-sensitive items in the airflow path, as they may freeze. For more information, see How to Check the Air Vents for Blockage- Ensuring Proper Air Flow.
