We should have replaced our old fridge sooner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know why I waited so long to replace my old refrigerator. The ice maker had stopped and the drawers were falling off the rails. Such stress (albeit first world, I admit).
The Whirlpool is so well lit and the I LOVE that the icemaker is in the door. Gave us a whole shelf in the freezer! I also love the shape of the ice cubes--the old elongated cubes were guaranteed to fall out of your hands. With this smaller ones, you can grab a handful and put them right in your container.

First Counter Depth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first Counter Depth refrigerator. So far, so good! We made the move to a counter depth because we are empty nesters now. The interior lighting is super bright without being overpowering. The in door ice maker gives us extra shelf space in the freezer. The door shelves on the refrigerator side are moveable which gives us plenty of storage options.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall Whirlpool delivers as expected. This was an unexpected (albeit over due) pricey purchase for me and I am a little dismayed with the quality of the new materials used. My previous refrigerator felt more solid; a metal exterior as opposed to plastic, heavier glass shelving with better options for height adjustment, heavier baskets in the freezer section, and finally the interior lighting. Additionally my previous purchase came with a printed owners manual. After 15 years of mostly faithful service with a minimum of out of warranty service calls it went the way of all things, man made or natural. My minimal but annoying disappointment with the new refrigerator is that I’ve yet to be able to calibrate the measured fill and I am very disappointed that the previous option of a manual measured fill is no longer an option. By-in-large, I am relatively pleased and very hopeful that my newest purchase will outlive/last me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Happy so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After three weeks it is going well. The Cons so far: The water from the dispenser is NOT chilled. There are NOT enough door shelves. They are not all the same size (3 different attachment shapes)and cannot be placed at the height I would like them. No parts description page or opportunity to purchase parts such as additional shelf.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keeps temp as it should but icemaker is extremely loud and took over 2 weeks for plastic taste to be removed from ice and water.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

TOO COOL COUNTER DEPTH

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new fridge was a replacement due to a nonrepairable issue that sometimes happens. Whirlpool was very accommodating under warranty protection. Although, my fridge was discontinued they supplied me with new one which I love! The counter depth side by side fits perfectly in my smaller kitchen in my new townhouse. A beautiful stainless steel with plenty of room for a older, single divorced woman starting a new chapter in her life. It is almost perfect! Just wish I could dispense ice and fill water with a 2nd cup at the same time as my other model; going to have to get the manual out to check it that is a possibility!!!
