[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this kitchenaid about one month. My first impression is not very impressed with the quality of the workmanship of the kitchenaid. The door handles were not in line as for the hight.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

An Overall Good Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a month ago and we're content. We wanted a counter depth appliance and this unit checks that box. The side-by-side doors offers convenient access to both cold and frozen foods without having to bend over to pull out some drawer. The storage capacity is less than similarly priced units due to the counter-depth profile. The unit has a water filter/ice maker in the left door. It has its own filter which is unnecessary in our case since it's connected to our reverse osmosis system. Food, especially vegetables, can freeze if placed on the top shelf. The manual points this out but who reads the manual before buying? It's an overall good fridge but there are better options out there if you're not too concerned about the counter-depth feature.

Too Much Plastic, Too Little Space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Too much plastic, too little space. I’d looked at side-by-side for several years. Initially this KitchenAid side-by-side looked modern, sleek with some eye catching features like the automatic dimming interior lights. It seemed to be the right refrigerator for me. But reality is different than a look in a store. Some of the drawers are only half drawers. The interior main shelves can’t be adjusted & neither the refrigerator nor freezer have enough storage for single person. Lastly it seems to have a sleek modern look but all those pieces are not a nice metal but coded plastic. Disappointed in KitchenAid for the lack of substantial interior materials. I’m afraid it’s a fail.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are not unhappy with our new refrigerator but I give it only three stars. While similar to the one we had to replace, size, side by side, water and ice in the door, some features were lost. We lost a drawer in the freezer which is not life changing but still. There is not counting forward on the water dispenser. It has measured fills of 8, 16, 24 ounces but I would rather watch it count until I reach my own number. Again, just a change that we eventually get used to. It would be better if I could do a review iin a year.
