Stylish and dependable option, especially for smal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Whirlpool WRSC5536RZ 36" 21 cu. ft. side-by-side refrigerator for a few months now, and overall, I’m very pleased with it. The stainless steel finish looks sleek and modern in my kitchen, and the counter-depth design gives it a built-in look without taking up too much space.
This fridge is best suited for 1–2 people who don’t cook a lot or keep a ton of food on hand. The interior layout is similar to my previous Whirlpool 24 cu. ft. model — the shelf arrangement looks nearly identical and visually it appears just as spacious. However, the shelves in this 21 cu. ft. version are noticeably smaller and less roomy, which is something to keep in mind.
That said, it cools evenly and runs very quietly. Even the ice maker is quieter than in my old fridge, and it fills the ice bin without the loud clunking I was used to. The LED lighting is bright and well-placed, making it easy to see everything inside.
One downside: for some reason, this fridge arrived without the air filters, and I had to order those separately. Thankfully, at least a water filter was included in the box.
Overall, it's a stylish and dependable option, especially for smaller households with lighter food storage needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only issue I have is the noise connected with the ice maker, not extremely loud but enough to annoy you after ice is taken from it.

Okay, but a bit noisy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this side-by-side refrigerator for just over a week, and it seems okay. My previous refrigerator (also a Whirlpool) was almost 20 years old, and it was beginning to show its age. So I got a new one. The new one is smaller and has fewer features (but cost a lot more). The freezer is noticeably smaller, and it doesn't have the drawers that my old one did. I like to have lots of frozen food, so I made a mistake getting this refrigerator. The refrigerator space (not the freezer side) is good, but lacks the drawers that control humidity/temperature that my old refrigerator had. Also, the shelves have only a few preset positions. My old one had more options for the positions. Also this is noisier than the old one. I would have expected it to be quieter, but it isn't.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too much noise!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it about 2 weeks ago and had a service tech come out because of the noise from the refrigerator. He mentioned a bad design and that he couldn't do anything. Overall it's a good refrigerator, but way too loud. The noise doesn't stop when we open the door, in fact it very rarely stop at all. It's very annoying during the evening when trying to watch TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
