It doesn't work

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed in purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this refer to replace an older which had a busted ice maker (and other problems). The broken ice maker put us over the edge. So we purchased this one. Within a month the ice maker on this one broke (a piece under the ice storage that distributes the ice out the door broke). When I called Whirlpool to get a replacement part they said it was not covered because it was an accessory...not part of the fridge despite the fact that it was built into the door. Instead I was give a sales pitch on how to buy an extended warranty!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the refrigerator for only 2 weeks so this will be limited. The definition of a good refrigerator is 1 that lasts longer than 8.5 years, the duration of my last 2. We will see on that. Its very nice looking, great lighting, etc. The only negative I've seen so far is the sound. Mine is in an enclosure so that may magnify things a bit. It has a very noticeable whistle. I've looked into sound deadening options but would love some advice from whirlpool.

Lots of smart tech

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge came with my new home package. My family loves all the smart tech it has, like water fill amounts and rather we want crushed or cubed ice! The only con we have is the capacity amount it can hold. We wish it was deeper for more room.

Dear Santa: please send me a new fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a new fridge that was installed on October 28. One side of the fridge has not been working since day one. Today is December 2, and I am still waiting for the repair.
A lot of food has gone to waste for a family of five because of this issue. This has been the worst experience ever.
