Stylish and roomy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this for a week and am so far very satisfied with it. It is very stylish and has plenty of room for a counter depth refrigerator. I can even fit 12-pack soda boxes in it. It's a little noisier than expected but nothing that causes an issue. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Need Quality control improvements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new refrigerator came with two issues: 1). the freezer door is being replaced due to a number of wavy issues on the exterior stainless steel panel. 2), this door was also found to be out of alignment at the top with the other side door. Overall, not impressed with your quality control.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Refrigerator replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had previous side-by-side Whirlpool model and this model is better than the old one. Ice maker is better with the small ice cubes and better lighting in the refrigerator. The freeze has more space than the old one. Only issue currently is that the settings panel on the frig seems a bit flimsy.

Average refrigerator that you can hear it running.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not pleased that before having the refrigerator for 1 week I need a service call. I was disappointed that Whirlpool did not manufacture a side by side counter depth WITHOUT the ice and water dispenser which are notorious on all brands of refrigerators for being a major source of service calls. On my brand new Whirlpool refrigerator, the measured fill will not work. I cannot calibrate it and so I need a service call. I hope this failure is not a harbinger of things to come. The idea that manufacturers provide only a year warranty for such a major purchase is outragerous but not surprising. They force you into an extended warranty. I had a Frigidaire prior to this Whirlpool and it only lasted a little more than 2 years. Unfortunately, I did not have an extended warranty and so I had no recourse other than purchasing a new refrigerator. The American public pays for profits of these major corprations and there is not accountability for their poor workmenship. They reap their profits and we suffer their defective merchandise.
