Great size for our kitchen

Nice, but noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd give this refrigerator five stars except that the compressor is quite loud. When first installed it was so loud I thought I'd have to refuse it, but the sound lessened after the frig, freezer, and ice dispenser were fully chilled.
Any noise is intrusive in an open-plan house, but I after two weeks I guess I'm getting used to it. Otherwise, a great frig -- spacious, brightly lit, and the counter depth make the whole room work better.

Mixed emotions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this to be "top of the line" as I saw no other whirlpool models. I replaced my Whirlpool Gold frig which looks the same from the outside but has far better shelving options. There is also no dedicated egg storage in the unit which is just plain stupid.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had it for a month and have yet to see a filled ice bucket. It just doesn't produce enough ice for us. We've had to go out and buy ice bags from the store! Had we not had my mom in the hospital for 2 weeks and now we've had to put her in a skilled nursing facility for hospice, we would've returned this fridge, as ice is very important to us. The rest of it is fine.

Unstable temperature inside refrigerator

Have it for two weeks and it's constant battle with the temperature inside the refrigerator. Initially was set to 38 and things get frozen, Changed to 39, same thing. Now it's at 41 and still things get frozen. I put a temperature and moisture detector inside and see swings of temperature from 28 to 38 during the day and moisture from 45 to 90 percent. Dissapointed with the purchase. I live in a remote area and return is not a viable option for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
