Tons of space!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so thrilled with my new refrigerator freezer. It has tons of space. The design maximizes every square inch. I also really like the size of the ice cubes it makes, and it crushes the ice really nicely. My old freezer made huge ice cubes but these are nice, smaller square ones. This fridge does make an audible humming sound, but it’s not bad and after only a few days of having it, we are barely aware of it anymore. It does not have a lot of extra features but I wasn’t looking for that — I just wanted it to work well and give me tons of room in both the freezer and the fridge. So far, I’m delighted with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using this fridge for 10 months now. Everything works great. The ice maker can be kind of loud, but as long as it works good. The sabbath option on the control panel is useless and lame for people who don't believe nor follow sabbath rules, that was old testament. I really like the presetting of the amount of water you can choose to fill your water containers with. Good fridge overall.

If your side-by-side refrigerator's water dispenser is leaking or dripping, a few common issues may be the cause. Here is a detailed guide to help you identify and resolve the problem.
1. Check the Dispenser Drip Tray
Is the dispenser drip tray full and overflowing?
The dispenser features a removable drip tray, which includes an insert designed to catch minor drips and spills. If this tray becomes filled with water, it can overflow and leak or spill down the front of the refrigerator door.
Locate the insert within the dispenser drip tray.
To remove the drip tray insert, gently push down on the rear edge until the front edge tilts up.
Carefully pull the insert out.
Empty any collected water and clean the tray thoroughly at the sink.
Ensure the tray is properly re-seated after cleaning.
2. Inspect the Ice Chute for Residue
Are there residual ice shavings or pieces lodged in the ice chute?
When dispensing crushed ice, tiny shards and pieces of ice can remain in the delivery chute. These residual pieces will eventually melt, causing noticeable dripping from the dispenser area.
Visually inspect the ice chute opening for any visible ice shavings or blockages.
To clear the chute and prevent a buildup of melted ice causing drips, switch the dispenser to dispense whole or cubed ice.
Dispense approximately 8 to 10 whole ice cubes. This action helps to flush out any smaller shavings and clear the chute effectively.
Make this a routine practice after dispensing crushed ice.
3. Review Dispensing Technique
Was the glass or container held under the dispenser long enough?
It is normal for the water line to retain a small amount of residual pressure immediately after the dispenser lever is released. This results in a few final drops of water being dispensed.
After you release the dispenser lever, continue to hold your glass or container under the spout for an additional 2 to 3 seconds. This ensures that any final drips fall into the container rather than onto the drip tray or down the refrigerator front.
4. Investigate for Loose Water Connections
Is a water line connection loose, causing intermittent or continuous dripping?
A persistent leak, especially one that appears to originate from inside the unit or the lower sections, may be due to a loose connection in the refrigerator's water supply system.
Check for any signs of water pooling or dampness in the following areas:
The bottom of the refrigerator compartment (inside).
Around the refrigerator's hinge areas.
In the back of the product, particularly where the household water supply line connects to the refrigerator's inlet valve.
If a loose connection is identified, it may need to be tightened or properly seated. If you are unsure how to safely access and tighten these connections, consult your refrigerator's manual or contact a qualified service technician.
5. Examine the Water Filter for Damage
Is the installed water filter cracked, damaged, or improperly seated?
The water filter is a critical component of the water dispensing system. Damage to the filter itself or its sealing O-rings can disrupt the water flow and cause internal leaks that manifest as dripping at the dispenser.
Remove the existing water filter according to your refrigerator's instructions.
Inspect the filter body carefully for any visible cracks, chips, or physical damage.
Verify that the rubber O-rings—small, typically black rubber rings that create a seal—are still firmly in place and not torn, warped, or missing.
If the filter is cracked, damaged, or if the O-rings are compromised, replace the filter immediately with a new, undamaged one.
Whirlpool recommends using a genuine everydrop® water filter to ensure proper fit and performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fine refrigerator, replacing a 10 year old french door model we had before. We went with the side by side because we felt like we were losing things, buried deep in the other model's deep freezer drawer. Minor complaints - the deli/veggie drawers are difficult to remove and put back in, and the shelves on the door are difficult to get fully locked into place. Having said that, the ice maker works like a champ, and we can see everything without going on a deep dive.

Love the lighting inside both the refrigerator and freezer. Smudge and fingerprint resistant. More spacious than my original refrigerator and love the drawers in the refrigerator.
