Great refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Whirlpool refrigerator. I had another Whirlpool that had the freezer at the bottom and I never liked it. It came with the house. I prefer the side by side, with the freezer on the left side. It's easier to see what one has and has a lot more space for everything. I have always liked the Whirlpool products and all my appliances are either Whirlpool or Maytag.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Highlights- in-door ice maker, external temp control of both freezer and fridge, great lighting both sides. Improvements: taller water and ice dispenser area, humidity control bar on top crisper drawer, can caddy would be nice additions. Quiet, and the best thing is the water filter works GREAT! Water and ice taste FANTASTIC. Very pleased with purchase.

Growing pains

And the cold water service dispensed warm water. We reset the icemaker twice before it finally started making ice. When the icemaker started working, the water dispenser started dispensing cold water. It takes about 24 hours to stableize arter it is plugged in.

Noisy

Low humming noise

High Capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 21 year old Kenmore (Whirlpool) fridge ice stop working and would not produce ice even after ice maker replacement. All of our kitchen appliances are white (Do not like Stainless) the quickest delivery on this particular model in white was 1 month. Due to the Age of our current fridge and the fact that we had to wait that long I decided to order this fridge. Here are my Pro's & Con's.
PRO's : Large capacity, Lots of LED lights, the Icemaker & bucket on the door is great giving us an extra shelve in the freezer compare to our older one. Sleek looking and so far its been working fine.
CON's: Compare to my 21 year unit, the drawers are much more flimsy, even thou the water and ice dispenser are separate, you can only use 1 at a time. Seems like the old one had more advance logic. Does not have a dedicated compartment for fruit, butter and eggs. I guess this is the norm, pay more and get less, really sad considering this is the Top of the line Side by Side.
P.S. - The old fridge is still working, I was just afraid it would die due to age, Don't think this NEW one will last as long.
