It’s a fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel the ice machine is noisy. The handles & door are “off” and was told by the tech I’d need a whole new fridge. They couldn’t anything about the door level. Ugh!!

Broken ice maker and defective parts issues under.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ice maker stopped working less than a month from receiving the Refrigerator. Filed a warranty repair and they did not have the part to fix it when they came the first time. I have a follow up appointment and the part is in and ready to install. Assuming this fixes the refrigerator it already broke in under a month and these are supposed to have the lowest repair rate. I’m not confident in the longevity of this product. One star for Whirlpool warranty trying to fix it. If it’s fixed and I’m only inconvenienced taking all the time out of my day to meet the repair person and all the time without ice, I may give it two stars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perferred over my Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Went from a 4 drawer Samsung to this frig. I love the fact that the icemaker works! It does not freeze as the Samsung did. I seem to have as much room in the frig and more in the freezer. The size fits better in my space than the Samsung did as well. So far no problems (but only have had it installed 2 weeks). I replaced my last side by side Whirlpool with the Samsung. Big mistake. The Samsung went Kapooey after 9 years (the ice maker after only a couple of months...even after 2 services by Samsung). My previous Whirlpool side by side was 20+ years old. I hope this one provides service as good as that one:)!
