I bought this in January and was using it for winter use. I went to go plug it in October and it's making this screeching noise. There is a new filter and there is nothing blocking it. I will be requesting a refund.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pump quit after 2 weeks

I bought 2 invisimists 2 weeks ago.
Yesterday I did weekly cleaning.
According to directions.
Now one of the humidifiers will not pump water.
I am totally frustrated and disappointed with this product.
Will be returning both of them as they are unreliable and expensive for for the quality

After approximately 1 month, I am satisfied with my purchase. My only reservation is that it needs to be refilled a little over one day after each refill. Except for that that, the unit humidifies well and is pretty quiet while doing it.

I love it. This is the second winter I’m using it and I’ve had zero problems with it. No screeching noises as others have mentioned. It’s fairly quiet. I have filtered well water and when I used it, the replaceable filter got a little gross and I had to clean it more often. I decided to use distilled water instead and now it stays cleaner.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I live in an apartment, which is very dry in the winter when the heat is on. The InvislbleMist humidifier works well, keeping the humidity at a comfortable level. It's quiet and easy to maintain.

Worth Every Penny!

I've never said these words before about a humidifier - I love this thing! I have it in my living room and it's made a noticeable dent in how dry the air in this large open space feels. This is my second Blueair product. Like the first, it was incredibly easy to set up. While I haven't added water from the top, I appreciate that it can be done that way. Since it's super easy to lift the top off, when the water level gets really low, I remove the top, carry the base to the kitchen sink, remove the filter frame and pump, pour out any remaining water, refill, put the pump and filter back in, and walk it back to the living room. I recently changed the filter for the first time. I soaked the filter frame, pump and pump sponge as instructed, allowed them to dry and put the tank in the dishwasher. All super easy and everything came out nice & clean. Best maintenance process ever for a humidifier. And last but not least, this humidifier is very aesthetically pleasing. I really appreciate that the color is white. (What is up with all the putty grey and ugly beige colors??) Would love to see a mini version of this for the bedroom as the DreamWell design is not aesthetically pleasing. I'm currently considering replacing an older (and giant) Dyson Hot+Cool Purifier in my bedroom with the Comfort Pure 3-in-1 Air Purifier. A mini version of this InvisibleMist Humidifier would complete my bedroom set-up.

Completely useless product

Bought a year ago for my bedroom and had it replaced TWICE since the original purchase date. Now the pump is broken AGAIN. I have a Honeywell unit that I bought 5 years ago that still works. The only reason I bought the Blue Air is because I have two purifiers that work well. What a pain and I’m very disappointed in this product.
