I've owned this humidifier for a month now. I have zero complaints about it. We are on well water w/o a softener, the minerals and calcium accumulate in the revisor so after a week or two I just wipe out all the deposits and move on with life. Other humidifiers collect the minerals all over and its a hassle to clean them. It's easy to clean, easy to fill, pumps out lots of moisture and has a black out mode for sleeping. It's the best humidifier I've ever owned, with living in the dry mountains of Colorado I've owned a lot of humidifiers.

Built right and good UI but not that effective

This humidifier is built right and easy to fill the water. The app is good and I like the fact that I can schedule it to turn on at night and then turn off in the morning. In term of performance, not sure how effective this humidifier is. I put a sensor in the room and humidity only reached out to 60% while target was 75%.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the best results, we recommend placing the humidifier in a room up to 500 sq. ft., adjusting your preferred target humidity level, and setting the humidifier to Auto mode. This allows the device to react to the changing humidity in your room and adjust to meet your target humidity. For a comfortable and healthy home, we would recommend setting the target range between 30% and 50%. When the air in your home is too moist, it can feel hot and sticky, and it can worsen health conditions like asthma and allergies. Initially frustrating to get working

Well this thing wouldn’t work out of the box. Filled it and wouldn’t recognize the water present. I started the pump as specified in the manual and it didn’t work to prime the pump, for over an hour, and many many tries. I emptied it, filed it, took the pump out and shook it. I finally slammed my fist into the touch screen multiple times, I didn’t care if it broke since I was getting so mad at yet another cheap appliance. Was about to return it. Then all of a sudden it started working lol. And it’s been fine ever since. Weird.

Didnt Work

The buttons didn’t work. Once I plugged it in and turned it on, I couldn’t adjust the humidity because the buttons didn’t do anything. The power button didn’t turn it off. I had to unplug it to turn it off. I was able to return it easily and get a refund, so I was happy with that. Just wish the product had worked.

Powering the humidifier off and then back on resets the pump and allows it to detect the newly added water. Unit stop working after 4 weeks of use

I had high hopes for the Blueair Humidifier, but unfortunately, it completely failed to meet expectations. After just 4 weeks of use, the unit stopped working entirely. The primary issue is that it no longer pumps water over the filter, which renders the entire system ineffective.
For a product at this price point, I expected much better quality and durability. It’s extremely disappointing to have something fail so quickly after purchase, especially when it’s supposed to be a reliable household item. I followed all the recommended care and maintenance instructions, so there’s no reason for it to stop functioning so abruptly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
