Doesn’t work with many cases

One of the requirements for this to work properly is that the phone case must be thin enough. Unfortunately, I choose a relative thick MagSafe compatible case to protect my phone. With the snap ring attached to the outside of the case, the phone gets hot and charging is stopped. My phone actually gets depleted in my car on long trips, unless I remove it from the case. I’ve given up on this charger and have gone back to a direct wired connection for charging
It was great despite getting SUPER hot, even when not using a phone case. But the glass got a crack in it about 3 months in, didn't drop it or anything. Just noticed a crack one day, probably from the charger being glass and the magnets being fairly strong and snapping the phone to the charger over and over. But it still worked fine with the crack so it wasnt a big deal. Unfortunately just stopped working out of no where today. Haven't even had it 6 months. For the price I would have assumed it would have lasted longer especially with how gentle I was with it.
I’ve ordered many products, but this has to be the most disappointing one by far. I purchased two of these Snap Phone Grip Wireless Chargers—one for myself (iPhone) and one for my dad (Android)—and both turned out to be complete disasters. While charging, both of our phones overheated to dangerous levels. My iPhone would actually shut down until it cooled off, and my dad’s phone got so hot that the Snap Grip melted right off! This isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s a serious safty concern. I cannot stress enough: DO NOT buy this product. It’s poorly designed and potentially hazardous.
So far, every time I have used this "charger" my phone has come off of it with significantly lower battery levels than when I started charging. When I attach my phone it shows that my battery is charging, but it doesn't actually charge. Once, I put it on to charge at 39% and a half an hour later it was at 25%. Don't waste your money.
Didn't get to see how fast it could charge. Phone fell off the charger\stand when the charger got too hot and softened the adhesive. Now I need a new adhesive ring Not sure the charger is safe to use.
I purchase the snap car charger package. I noticed the glass magnetic plate would get hot. That didn’t affect the ability to charge but I found the glass itself had cracked in a perfect circle. It still charges but doesn’t seem safe to continue use. I am not going to order a new one that simply didn’t last a year just being stationary mounted on my truck dash. Be cautious that the glass is apparently pretty frail and will not withstand extended use.
Used this for 14 months - as part of a desk setup, so it never got moved or was in a car with fluctuating temps/vibrations etc - and today it stopped working. Was great (other than getting hot sometimes) and worked as described, but it’s a real bummer that it’s only under warranty for a year, and it stopped working barely after. I should say I also have one in my vehicle that’s still going after 20 months. Win some, lose some I guess.
