Doesn't quite work right

I bought this to replace my gen 1 wireless charger in my car, the original worked great, but the glass ended up cracking, when I saw the new one I was hopeful I wouldn't have that issue, what I do have is intermittent charging (charges for approx 6 seconds, then stops for a few, then resumes over and over) I've tried multiple plug-ins for my car and the same issue still happens. I thought they maybe it was just my car, so I brought it inside, used it on multiple bricks, and it seems to do a similar issue, where it only charges just enough to keep the battery at the same percentage. I want to like it, I just worry I got a defective one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gets too hot

Within a few minutes of it charging my phone, it was incredibly hot and felt unsafe to continue using.

Recently received the Snap Charge Qi2. It magnets on really tightly and seems to work well. Liking the snap on charging capability!

This charger heats up my iPhone, makes it very hot. It does not charge very quickly.

I have been a longtime user of the original snap charge and snap stand and any complaints I have about it were addressed in this new version. I love the soft touch feel and how it is quite when connecting to the phone. Heat dissipation is better too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the wireless charger! Works perfectly, but the only thing about it is the cord length. I can not use it while it’s charging like at all unless I lean way to the side of my bed. Other than that quality of the charger it’s self is great

Description Wrong & Overheats

The description for the product states that it is thinner than the previous Snapcharge. It is not! It is actually significantly thicker than the original Snapcharge.I also agree with a previous reviewer, this Snapcharge overheats. I purchased two of these and both of them overheat causing the charger and the phone to become too hot to handle. I experienced this same issue with the prior Snapcharge and had to do several replacements with support before I received one that did not overheat. This may be a quality control issue of some kind. These devices appear to be very sensitive to the power adapter used. If that's the case, it should come with one.Regardless, I will be submitting a refund request. I am not up for exchanging the devices until I get a pair that do not overheat.
