When attached to car mount and phone is upright a small bump easily knocks it off the charger.

Auto-alignment? Never met her. The vast majority of the times I perfectly align my charger to my phone it doesn’t charge. Other times when it is charging before I fall asleep I’ve woken up to a dead phone. Last night the final straw was the audio I was listening to to help me fall asleep cut out because the phone was too hot on the charger. I regret sinking the money I did into the charger, snap grip and case. Don’t make my same mistake!

Tried two different adapters that both provide 20w to the charger but all it does is make my phone hot and barely gives 1% charge over 30 min.

I had high hopes

I have had OhSnap products since the first iteration, including the snap charge, which I use in my car with the old vent mount (which I wish you could still get). I had to get a new snap grip recently and it did not work well with the old snap charge so I got the Qi2. Unfortunately, it’s been nothing but disappointing. The magnet connection is not near as good as the old one. It does not “auto align” like it should. And the supposed faster charging is not noticeable. I do have an older iPhone, so maybe that’s the issue. It’s honestly been so frustrating to use and really wish I could get an older snap grip to be able to continue to use the old snap charge I have. I am giving it 2 stars only because it does technically work after wrestling with it to actually connect to the grip on my phone.

Works with Aramid Fiber magsafe case

The snap charger works well with the Aramid Fibre magsafe Mous phonecase for Samsung S25 Ultra. But not with the Snap grip 5 attached. I was going to return because the charger did not work in combination with the snap grip but decided to keep it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
