The only "pick" I have with the Maker 4 is that it always requires more pressure when cutting. I would think the default should take that into account. I appreciate the speed though.

I had a maker, and was intrigued by a youtube video stating it cut faster and could use two directions when cutting. That cutting allowed for cleaner intricate cuts. I love it. All the housing, blade types from my maker fit the cricut4. I really enjoy working with cardstock and vinyl. I also like the software upgrades.

This is my first Cricut machine and I am thoroughly impressed. I knew that it would be an awesome experience using it for the first time but I was amazed out how quick it cut the initial decal that was included! I have a learning curve ahead of me but I am excited to use it to its full potential.

This is my first experience with a maker having had an explore air 2 and 3 previously. I love the maker and wanted a cricut where I could do engraving and embossing. I have used the engraving tip to make some night lights for an anniversary celebration in June. They came out beautifully. I'm amazed at how fast the maker 4 cuts and always does a great job with intricate cuts. So far very happy with it.
