Upgrading from a Joy Xtra which I still have and like but wanted to make bigger projects and use different cutting tools. This machine is much faster than my Joy xtra which is nice.

I love how quickly this machine cuts, draws, etc. I am able to use many materials with my machine. I mostly make cards and I love the way it cuts the card base and scores it precisely.

I was given the Maker 4 by my husband. I already owned the Cricut Explore Air 2. I was dying to go to the next level with projects. It was a smooth transition. I love the speed and the Smart materials. I’m still getting used to the update to the OS but other than that, it’s been wonderful. I haven’t used all the accessories yet like the foil, debosser, or rotary cutter but I will soon.

I had to buy a new Cricut when my Air no longer would update the firmware. I use my Cricut for crafts and gifts so I wasn't sure which one to buy. I did a bit of comparison and I chose the Maker 4. To say it is fast is an understatement. My husband has real estate signs that needed new names. This machine is amazing. It's fast and I can continue to create without having to find something else to do while it's cutting. I am very happy with my new Cricut 4. I will be trying different materials to see what else I can create.
