It definitely faster and quieter. I started it stepped away and came back thinking I forgot to start it but it was done. But I’m having issues cutting vinyl for cord organizers. It would not accept the cutting blade. I need to call the help desk to see if it’s my machine or Design Space.

I replaced my original Maker with a Maker 4 and LOVE it! It’s quieter and impressively faster. The cuts seem more precise, and it offers the same options to switch blades for veneer, cardstock, vinyl and foam boards.
I chose this over the venture for two reasons. It uses the same size mat and materials as the Maker, and it’s the same size. While I have a designated spot for my machine, occasionally I need to take it with me for use. The Venture surpasses my definition of portable.
Highly recommend this product.
